Dr. Saurabh Dang

Dr. Saurabh Dang is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist who completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine. Prior to his medical training, he was born in New Jersey and grew up in Upstate New York. He graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY with a B.A. in Mathematics. During his undergraduate years, he played collegiate golf and developed an interest in sports-related injuries. Upon graduation, he completed his Internship in General Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY. He went on to complete his Anesthesiology residency at New York Medical College, in Valhalla, NY where he was elected Chief Resident and was awarded “Resident of the Year” during his final year of training. He completed his Fellowship training in Pain Medicine at The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, where he gained significant experience in the use of implantable devices for the management of chronic pain.

Dr. Dang has extensive training in various modalities in Pain Medicine, including Spinal Cord Stimulation, Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems, Radiofrequency ablation/rhizotomy procedures, epidural steroid injections, selective nerve blocks, and joint injections. His interests in Pain Medicine include Cancer Pain, Failed Back Surgery Syndrome, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and Neuromodulation.

Dr. Dang is committed to providing the most evidence-based care is evident through his various publications in both anesthesiology and pain management. He has presented at various prestigious conferences with his colleagues.

Dr. Dang speaks English and Hindi. In his free time, Dr. Dang enjoys playing golf, skiing, and spending time with his family.
